Born and raised in San Francisco, Bryan Lew has worked in restaurants since the age of 15. With humble beginnings as a Chinese food delivery boy, he climbed his way up one position at a time, honing his own vision for the guest experience. Before opening INDO Restaurant & Lounge he was a member of the Straits Restaurant Management Group, opening restaurants in Houston, Atlanta, and around the Bay Area.
A University of Hawaii graduate, Bryan Lew conceived INDO Restaurant & Lounge, with a "tip of the hat" to the past history of South East Asian food that once occupied its location. With his flare of style, Bryan wants INDO to showcase his team's talents. His philosophy is simple: serve quality food and drinks with genuine hospitality and great atmosphere. What is certain from his past achievements is his ability to recognize individual talent and create a successful team.
"Deanna" began working at just five years old in her sister's restaurant in Surabaya, Indonesia. It did not take long for her to discover her life's passion as she quickly made a career of working in her family's restaurant. Having constantly honed her palate with family and friend's recipes she defined her style with new flavor combinations. She is the curator of our flavor experience here at INDO Restaurant & Lounge. To her friends and family she is the best at Indonesian home style cooking and here she is the heart of our dining experience. We are proud to showcase her over 27 years of authentic Indonesian home style cooking and invite you to join us and experience the same.
